On Earth Peace Activities at Annual Conference
 The 2008 Church of the Brethren Annual Conference is July 12-16, 2008, in Richmond, Virginia. On Earth Peace will have a display in the exhibit hall and will present ten insight sessions. On Tuesday, July 15, On Earth Peace will have its annual breakfast featuring a panel of four young leaders who will share about heeding the call to be vigilant peacemakers. Youth Peace Travel Team Begins Summer
 This year’s Youth Peace Travel Team consists of four college students: Samantha Carwile (Manchester), Gabriel Dodd (Bridgewater), Melisa Grandison (McPherson), and John-Michael Pickens (Messiah). The team spends the summer visiting Church of the Brethren camps where their primary work is to talk with other young people about the Christian message and the Brethren tradition of peacemaking. The team is jointly sponsored by the General Board of the Church of the Brethren (Brethren Volunteer Service, Brethren Witness/Washington Office, Youth and Young Adult Office), Outdoor Ministries Association, and On Earth Peace.
